B39300 – The Clash 1982 Autographed Combat Rock LP (USA)

A USA vinyl pressing of the 1982 Clash album ‘Combat Rock’ that has been autographed on the front cover. Joe Strummer has signed in black felt tipped pen. Paul Simonon, Mick Jones and Terry Chimes have signed in blue ballpoint pen. Paul, Mick and Terry have all added the inscription ‘To Joe’ above their respective signatures. The autographs were obtained at the Clash performance that took place at the Memorial Gym, Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, USA on 17th October 1982 by Joe Matuscak, former sales executive for Capitol Records. There is a backstage pass for the show attached to the front of the album. Terry Chimes was the Clash’s original drummer for the group’s first record and was brought back into the line-up after the dismissal of Topper Headon. The condition is excellent.
