B39440 – Beatles For Sale Single Sided Test Pressing (UK)

A single sided white label test pressing for side one of the Beatles For Sale album.  The record is on the ‘Parlophone Not For Sale’ test pressing label with ‘The Beatles’ handwritten in blue pen.  The matrix number is XEX 503-4N. It comes in a plain sleeve upon which ‘The Beatles’ and XEX503-4N G’ has been handwritten.  There is also a date stamp ‘4 November 1964’.  This was a month before the official UK release.

There is a large surface mark running from the play in to the run out groove.  There are also numerous other light marks over the surface of the vinyl.  The record is visually very good minus condition but plays as excellent.
