B39838 – The Beatles Selcol Big Six 1964 Guitar In Box (UK)

An original 1964 toy ‘Beatles Big Six’ guitar manufactured by Selcol UK. The orange and red guitar has no strings but still has the six original pegs. It has the original red and black shoulder strap attached. There is a ‘BEATLES BIG 6’ badge on the upper left corner of the guitar body with a circular Beatles group sticker above and facsimile signatures printed below. There is also a small Selcol sticker visible on the inside of the guitar body.

The guitar measures 81cm (32 inches) in height. It has a crack on the bridge where the strings would attach. Otherwise there are no splits or cracks to the plastic. There is some minor scratching from use on the body and neck. The condition of the guitar is very good.

The guitar comes in the original box with large group sticker on the front. The handle is missing from the box and there is creasing and wear to the edges and corners. There are some areas of scuffing to the sticker. The condition of the box is very good.
