An empty bottle for Paul McCartney’s ‘Mull of Kintyre’ Scotch whisky. The label reads ‘Distilled at Campbeltown, Scotland. Refined at Abbey Road, London. Awarded First Prize 28^th November 1977’. The single was released on the 11^th November 1977 and spent 9 weeks at number one. Presumably the whisky was created to celebrate this. The reverse of the label features a snippet of the sheet music for the single. The bottle measures 28cm (11 inches) in height. There is some sign of wear to the label. The condition is very good.
