A collection of Music Echo & Mersey Beat and Music Echo music papers from 1965 – 1966. There are 59 issues in total. The first issue is No 1, 6^th March 1965, the last issue is No 59, April 16^th 1966.

Music Echo was a British weekly music paper. From issue no 1 until issue no 23 the publication went under the title of Music Echo & Mersey Beat, from issue no 24 the title was changed to Music Echo. It was published on Merseyside by Mersey Beat. This collection of newspapers features full colour front covers on all of the issues. Music Echo contained many unusual photos which weren’t published in other music papers at the time. Music Echo covered the whole of the British music scene but some of it’s coverage was inevitably focused on events in Merseyside.

Music Echo typically contained between 12 – 16 pages. The issues measure 29cm x 45cm (11.4 inches x 17.1 inches). Some copies have the owner’s name written down on the border of the front cover. The conditions and artists featured on the covers are as follows:
