A one page letter handwritten by Guns N’ Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke which was sent to guitar luthier Tony Zemaitis. The letter is written on Ritz Carlton, Double Bay, Sydney, Australia letterhead paper and is dated 1st February 1993. In the letter Gilby thanks Tony for a guitar that he made for him, talking about his current tour with Guns ‘N’ Roses and mentions a meeting with Ronnie Wood in Japan where he showed him his new Zemaitis guitar, the letter is written in blue ballpoint pen and it is signed Gilby at the end. Accompanied by 4 black and white promotional photographs of Gilby which have been signed and a signed family Christmas card. Three of of the photographs show Gilby with Zemaitis guitars.
The letter measures 14.8cm x 21cm (5.8 inches x 8.4 inches). The photographs measure 20.2cm x 25.3cm (8 inches x 10 inches). The card measures 14cm x 18cm (5.5 inches x 7.1 inches). The condition is very good plus.
