B40808 – Aerosmith Greatest Hits RIAA Multi-Platinum Sales Award (USA)

An original RIAA multi-platinum sales award presented to Geffen records A&R executive John Kalodner to commemorate sales of more than 6,000,000 copies of the Geffen Records album, cassette and CD of ‘Greatest Hits’ by Aerosmith.  The award consists of a platinum coloured record, CD and cassette with six images of the album cover artwork with ‘1 million’, ‘2 million’ etc  under each.  There is also a plaque explaining what the award is for.  It measures 43cm x 64cm (17 inches x 25.25 inches).  The condition is excellent.
