B40893 – The Beatles Autographs Croydon 1963 (UK)

An autograph book that contains a complete set of Beatles autographs and an additional Paul McCartney autograph in blue ballpoint pen.

John Lennon has signed a page and on the opposite page John has written the inscription ‘To Diana’.

Ringo Starr has signed a page adding the word ‘love’ above his name.  Paul McCartney has signed the back of that page adding the inscription ‘To Diana love’ before his name and ‘xxx’ below it.

George Harrison has signed a page adding the inscription ‘To Diana’ above his name and ‘xx’ below it.

The second Paul McCartney autograph is on separate page he has added the word ‘love’ above his name and ‘xxx’ below it.

The autographs were obtained at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon, England on 25th April 1963. They come with a letter from the original recipient that reads ‘I attended this concert at Fairfield Halls and was able to get backstage to meet all of the Beatles and they gave me their autographs’.

Each page measures 7.6cm x 5cm (3 inches x 2 inches). There is some discolouration on one of the pages that Paul has signed. The condition is very good.
