B41092 – Ringo Starr 1964 University College Hospital Photograph (UK)

An original sixties black and white photograph of Ringo Starr taken during his stay in University College Hospital, London in June 1964. The stay, due to Ringo having tonsillitis, caused him to miss the start of The Beatles Australian tour for which Jimmie Nicol filled in drumming for the group. There are copyright stamps on the reverse and photographer’s annotations to the front.

The photograph measures 25.4cm x 18.8cm (10 inches x 7.4 inches). The condition is very good.
