B41291 – The Beatles 1964 Dorincourt Tiles (UK)

A set of 4 original ceramic tiles featuring The Beatles which were produced in 1964 by Dorincourt Potters. The white tiles each feature an individual headshot of John, Paul, George and Ringo, printed in blue, brown and black. The back of each tile is printed with the text ‘These tiles are produced by kind permission of The Beatles’ and the pottery address ‘Dorincourt Potters, Oklawn Rd, Leatherhead Sheltered Industry’.

Each tile measures 15.2cm x 15.2cm (6 inches x 6 inches).  There is some residue on the reverse of each tile where it has previously been stuck to a wall.  There is some light staining to the corner of the Paul tile.  The condition is otherwise excellent.
