B41321- The Beatles 1968 Richard Avedon Psychedelic Posters Set (UK)

A complete set of original 1968 psychedelic posters of The Beatles designed by photographer Richard Avedon. The set was commissioned by the Daily Express newspaper in 2968 and includes 4 individual colour images of John, Paul, George and Ringo along with a black and white group shot of The Beatles.

The individual posters each measure 48cm x 69cm (19 inches x 27 inches) and the group poster measures 101cm x 37cm (40 inches x 14.5 inches).

The posters have been rolled. The condition is as follows:

The John Lennon poster has some light foxing along the top edge.  There is also some light creasing and a heavier crease running across the bottom edge of the poster.  The condition is very good minus.

The Paul McCartney poster has some light creasing over the surface.  There are pin holes in all four corners and along the top and side edges. The condition is very good minus.

The George Harrison poster has some light wear and tear over the surface and along the right edge. There are pin holes in all four corners and along the top and side edges. The condition is very good minus.

The Ringo Starr poster has some creasing over the surface and wear and tear along the right edge. There are pin holes in all four corners and along the top and side edges. The condition is very good minus.

The group poster has heavy wear to the surface and edges.  There are tape stains to each corner. The condition is good.
