A white 100% cotton napkin with a repeating embroidered floral pattern design that was previously owned by Freddie Mercury.
The napkin was sold as part of lot 1587 in the Freddie Mercury: A World Of His Own, Crazy Little Things 1 sale held at Sotheby’s, New Bond Street, London on 12th September 2023. This lot consisted of a huge collection of table linen etc. that Freddie had purchased for use in his home, Garden Lodge, in Kensington, London. This item comes with a signed certificate of authenticity on Tracks Ltd. letterhead stating this.
The napkin measures 39cm x 40cm (15.25 inches x 15.75 inches). The napkin has been folded leaving vertical and horizontal crease lines. There is some light staining. The condition is excellent.
