B41783- Hessey’s Music Centre Liverpool Guitar Strings (UK)

An original set of Bronze .011 Guage guitar strings that were purchased from Hessey’s Music Centre, Liverpool in August 1995. The music shop on 62 Stanley Street, Liverpool was close to the Cavern Club and became popular with Mersey groups, including The Beatles with all four members making purchases from the store between the late fifties and sixties.

The guitar strings are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Ron Jones, author of the bestselling guide book ‘The Beatles Liverpool’ who purchased the strings on 5^th August 1995, the day that Hessy’s closed their shop in Stanley Street, Liverpool, six decades after they first opened.

The packet of strings measures 11cm x 13cm (4.3 inches x 5.1 inches). Each string is housed in the original paper sleeve. There is some light creasing to the paper packaging and small rust marks. The condition of the strings and packaging is excellent.
