B41814 – Clive Epstein Signed Typed Letter 1981 (UK)

A letter on Carlton Brooke Management headed notepaper.  The letter is addressed to the Daily Express on Fleet street and is date 15th June 1981.   It reads as follows:

 

“Dear Judith,

Motion Pictures
Thank you so much for your recent note, It was good of you to arrange for Andrew Hogg to include a reference to the Band in the New Standard.

I am making arrangements for a copy of the Band’s new single to be sent to Ann Nightingale in the hope that she will be willing to review the record.
Please be assured that I will be in touch with you again as soon as I have any further information.
With good wishes.
Yours sincerely”

 

It has then been signed in brown pen by Clive Epstein.  He has signed his first name only.

The letter measures 21cm x 26.5cm (8.25 inches x 10.5 inches).  There is some heavy wear and tear along the right edge and the letter has been folded leaving horizontal crease lines.  The condition is very good minus.
