B42475 – Beat Instrumental 1970s Almost Complete Collection (UK)

A virtually complete collection of Beat Instrumental magazines from the 1970s. The first issue is January 1970 and the last issue is December 1979. There is one issue missing, that of February 1975. There are 12 issues in each year, 108 issues in total. Comes with two original Beat Instrumental binders.

Beat Instrumental was a UK monthly pop and rock magazine founded by Sean O’Mahony. It was first published in May 1968 as Beat Monthly, later becoming Beat Instrumental Monthly with issue 18 and Beat Instrumental from Issue 37. It was aimed at musicians emphasizing instruments, production and equipment in its interviews and moved to progressive rock in the late 1960s. The magazine ceased publication in 1980.

Each magazine measures 24cm x 18cm (9.4 inches x 7 inches) The condition is as follows: around 25 are very good, the remainder are very good plus.
