B42902 – Genesis Publications Wood On Canvas: Every Picture Tells A Story Collector’s Edition Book (UK)
£250.00
‘Wood On Canvas’ is an intimate look at Ronnie Wood’s prolific painting, from his early art-school beginnings to the present day. The collection ranges from portraits of The Rolling Stones and many other famous luminaries and friends such as Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, John Lennon and Keith Moon, to sketches drawn at home, on holiday and on tour. Some of the pictures are great favourites but many of them are previously unseen, including several sketches. Ronnie managed to draw in between shows on the Bridges to Babylon tour. Every piece of artwork has been hand-picked from Ronnie’s vast archive of sketch books and files. The finishing touch to this remarkable limited edition is a four-track CD which features two classic songs ‘Breathe On Me’ and ‘Somebody Else Might’. It also includes two previously unreleased tracks ‘So High’ and ‘Interfere’ which was recorded with Bob Dylan at Ronnie’s studio at his home in Ireland. Each book is printed on 200gsm cartridge paper and luxurious Italian textured paper, and ¼ bound with silver spine blocking, pull-out gatefolds and silver page edging. The book is housed in an orange and blue silk-screened black cloth slipcase.
This is No. 1082 of 2400 limited edition collector’s copies, each hand signed by Ronnie Wood. It comes with the original mailing box. There is flaking to slipcase and to the top and the bottom of the spine of the book. The condition is very good minus.
