B43250 – The Rolling Stones Brian Jones Grapefruit Press Event Photograph (UK)

An original sixties black and white photograph of Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones, taken during a press launch event for the group ‘Grapefruit’ at the London Hanover Grand Hotel in January 1968. It is copyright stamped and captioned on the reverse. Grapefruit was a group brought together by Terry Doran whilst he was working for Apple Publishing. They were given their name by John Lennon. He and Paul McCartney also attended the press event to promote Grapefruit.

The photograph measures 17cm x 21cm (6.6 inches x 8.2 inches). There are light marks across the surface and a small crease across the lower right corner. The condition is very good.
