An original UK 1963 fourth mono pressing of The Beatles debut LP entitled ‘Please Please Me’. It is on the black and yellow Parlophone label with the catalogue number PMC 1202. The label contains ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd.’ and ‘Recording First Published’ label text but without the ‘Sold In the U.K’ statement. The matrix number on side one is XEX 421-1N. The matrix number on side two is XEX 422-1N.
There is a light surface mark across tracks 5, 6 and 7 on side two. The condition of the vinyl is otherwise excellent. There is a name handwritten in pen on the side 1 label. The condition of the labels is excellent. There is some creasing to both sides where the record goes into the sleeve. There is also a small tear on the right edge of the front and a little damage to the top fold over flap on the reverse. The condition of the sleeve is very good.
