B44380 – The Beatles 1968 Richard Avedon Psychedelic Posters Set (UK)

A complete set of original 1968 psychedelic posters of The Beatles designed by photographer Richard Avedon.  The set was commissioned by the Daily Express newspaper in 1968 and includes 4 individual colour images of John, Paul, George and Ringo.  Also included is the original promotional leaflet for the posters and the group black and white banner flyer.

The individual posters each measure 48cm x 69cm (19 inches x 27 inches). The banner poster measures 100cm x 37cm (39.3 inches x 14.5 inches). The leaflet measures 14.5cm x 19.5cm (5.7 inches x 7.6 inches). The posters have been rolled. The conditions are as follows:

There are small creases across the surface of the banner poster and light wear around the edges. The revere of the poster is discoloured around the edge. The condition is very good.

The Ringo Starr poster has some light wear and small creases around the edges and small marks on the reverse. The condition is excellent.

The John Lennon poster has some light wear around the edges, larger creases along the bottom edge and pin holes in each corner. The condition is excellent.

The Paul McCartney poster has some light wear and small creases around the edge, some small creases across the surface and some light marks/fading along the sides. The condition is excellent.

The George Harrison poster has some creasing and wear down the left edge and smaller crease across the bottom edge. The condition is excellent.

The promotional leaflet has some small creases across the surface and has been rolled with the posters. The condition is very good plus.
