B44474 – The Beatles And Many Others Autographs Sheffield 1963 (UK) – £Price On Request

A collection of three autographs books, one of which contains a complete set of Beatles autographs in blue ballpoint pen. George Harrison has added the group name ‘BEATLES’ above his signature. Ringo Starr has added the word ‘Love’ next to his autograph and ‘xx’ below it. John Lennon and Paul McCartney have each added ‘xxx’ below their respective signatures.
The Beatles autographs were obtained at the City Hall, Sheffield, England on 2nd March 1963 when The Beatles were one of the support acts on the Helen Shapiro UK tour.
The entire collection consists of three autograph books that were obtained in the 1960s. The books contain the following signatures.
Book 1
The Beatles, Jet Harris, Patti Brooke, Chris Montez, Tommy Roe, The Viscounts, Cliff Richard, Del Shannon, Brenda Lee, Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Shadows, Kenny Lynch, The Kestrels, Little Eva, The Brooke Brothers, Sounds Incorporated, Helen Shapiro, Danny Williams, Mike Berry, Freddie Garrity.
Each page in the book measures 9.5cm x 13cm (3.75 inches x 5.1 inches).
Book 2
Heinz, Bobby Vee, Dusty Springfield, Big Dee Irwin, The Searchers, The Echoes, Bobby Rydell, Gene Pitney, The Dakotas, Freddie Garrity, Dave Clark, Brian Poole The Shadows, Cliff Richard, Cilla Black, Mike Gregory The Escorts, Tony Hicks The Hollies, Graham Nash.
