B44620 – Sniffin’ Glue Issue 12 Aug/Sep 1977 Magazine (UK)

£150.00

An original copy of the Sniffin’ Glue magazine issue 12 dated August/September 1977 which was the final issue produced. Included is the ‘Love Lies Limp’ flexi disc which was recorded by the magazine’s photographer Harry Murlowski and marked the first release of Mark Perry’s band Alternative TV.

Sniffin’ Glue and Other Rock ‘N’ Roll Habits… or more commonly referred to as simply Sniffin’ glue was a monthly punk zine created by Mark Perry in July 1976. The name originated from the Ramones song ‘Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue’. The magazine became a key source for information and photographs about contributors to the punk scene and pioneered the DIY punk ethic due to its hurriedly put together nature. This issue contains articles and black and white photographs of Sham 69, The Clash, Chiswick and Generation X amongst others.

The magazine measures 21cm x 30cm (8.2 inches x 11.8 inches). There is light wear to the corners of the magazine and a small crease around where the pages are stapled. The condition is excellent.
