B44622 – Sniffin’ Glue Issue 5 November 1976 Magazine (UK)

£100.00

An original copy of the Sniffin’ Glue magazine issue 5 dated November 1976.

Sniffin’ Glue and Other Rock ‘N’ Roll Habits… or more commonly referred to as simply Sniffin’ glue was a monthly punk zine created by Mark Perry in July 1976. The name originated from the Ramones song ‘Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue’. The zine became a key source for information and photographs about contributors to the punk scene and pioneered the DIY punk ethic due to its hurriedly put together nature. This issue contains articles and black and white photographs of Eddie and the Hot Rods, Subway Sect, Gossip and Chelsea amongst others. There is an advert on the back page for the Sex Pistols UK tour.

The magazine measures 21.5cm x 29.5cm (8.5 inches x 11.6 inches). There is light wear around the edges and a small mark on the front cover near the title. The condition is excellent.
