B44655 – Paul McCartney Autographed Pipes Of Peace Vinyl LP (UK) – £Price On Request

A UK vinyl pressing of the 1983 Paul McCartney LP ‘Pipes of Peace’ autographed on the front cover by Paul McCartney in black felt tipped pen. Paul has added the words ‘all the breast!’ above his name. The signatures dates to circa 1983.
The signature on the album is very large measuring 17cm (6.7 inches) across. The condition is very good plus.
Provenance: accompanied by a letter from the son of the original recipient that reads:
‘This album is from my late father’s estate. From the 1960’s to the 1990’s my father was a professional photographer. He had studios in Covent Garden, Knightsbridge and was a successful and well known photographer.
During this time, many celebrities would use his studio. This included Linda McCartney. This meant that my father met the McCartney family many times. My father was a Beatles, Wings and McCartney fan and asked Paul to sign the album on a visit to his studio in the 1980’s. This has been kept in his record collection ever since, only being played a few times.’
