An original invitation to the unveiling of Yoko Ono’s Imagine Peace Tower in Viðey, Reykjavík, Iceland on the 9th October 2007. The letter and invitation are housed in a presentation card with an image of the Peace Tower on the front.
Provenance: the invitation comes from the collection of Ringo Starr’s manager, Hillary Gerrard.
The invitation measures 15.5cm x 23cm (6.1 inches x 9 inches). There is wear to the card with creases around the corners and marks across the surface. The condition is very good. The letter inside the card has been folded and there are small creases to the corners of the tracing paper invitation sheet. The condition is very good plus.
