B45349 – Beatles Please Please Me Black-Gold Mono 1st Pressing LP Dick James Credits (UK)

An original 1963 mono copy of the Beatles LP Please Please Me (PMC 1202). It is on the black and gold Parlophone labels with “The Parlophone Co. Ltd” label text but without the “Sold in UK….” text. Ernest J. Day sleeve. The Dick James Mus. Co. credits are incorrectly used on the songs ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ and ‘Misery’ on side one and ‘Do You Want To Know A Secret’ & ‘There’s A Place’ on side two. Side one has the matrix number XEX 421-1N. Side two has the matrix number XEX 422-1N.

There is some light wear around the spindle holes and some minor marks on the side 2 label. The condition of both labels is very good.

There are some light surface marks to both sides of the vinyl. The condition of the vinyl is very good.

There is some light ring wear on both the front and reverse of the sleeve and some areas of discolouration and staining on the reverse of the sleeve. There is also some minor creasing to the corners and edges and a couple of small areas of damage to the fold over flaps on the reverse. The condition of the front of the sleeve is very good plus. The condition of the reverse of the sleeve is very good.
