An original rare Italian Apple Records 7 inch singles set issued on 25th November 1968 in a unique fold out picture sleeve. The set contains 4 7″ vinyl records: Mary Hopkin’s ‘Quelli Erano Giorni/Turn Turn Turn’, Jackie Lomax’s ‘Sour Milk Sea/The Eagle Laughs At You’, The Iveys ‘Maybe Tomorrow/And Her Daddy’s A Millionaire’ and an interview between The Beatles and Kenny Everett recorded at EMI Studios in 1968, ‘In Questo Disco, Una Sensazionale Intervista Con John, Ringo, Paul & George’, which was exclusive to the Italian market and specifically to this set. The records are housed in a unique quad fold picture sleeve which is designed so that the 7” singles fit into the relevant picture pocket. This Italy only record set was issued to promote the launch of Apple Records in 1968, the UK equivalent was the ‘Our First Four’ pack.
The condition of labels is mint. The condition of two of the records is mint. The other two records have some light surface marks on each side. The condition is very good. The vinyl on all the discs is very bright. There is some light creasing to the sleeve and some staining to the reverse where a sticker with a diameter of approx. 2cm has previously been. The condition of the sleeve is very good.
