A silver award on a wooden mount that was presented to Lou Grade at the A Salute To Lou Grade televised tribute show. The show took place in the Grand Ballroom, New York Hilton, USA on 18th April 1975. It featured an appearance by John Lennon that would turn out to be John’s last ever live public performance. John Lennon and Yoko Ono Lennon were seated at table 19 at the event. Other guests seated at the table were ex Apple employees Peter Brown and Tony King, John and Yoko’s personal assistant Arlene Reckson and Richard Ross, owner of the New York restaurant HOME.

Provenance: from the estate of Lou Grade.

The award measures 38cm x 46cm (15 inches x 18 inches). There is some light scratching in places. The condition is very good.
