B46014 – Woodstock Yasgur Farms Dairy New York c.1969 Stationery (USA)

A collection of business stationery from Yasgur Farms Dairy, New York. It was the farm’s owner, Max Yasgur, who leased part of his 600 acre farm to the organisers of Woodstock Music and Arts Fair for $10,000. The festival took place between the 15th and 18th August 1969 and the items date to this period. Woodstock saw legendary performances by Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Joan Baez, Santana, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane and many others. Consists of the items listed below.

An original unused receipt which measures 9.4cm x 18.8cm (3.8 inches x 7.4 inches). There is a rust mark to the right edge. The condition is very good plus.

An original unused statement which measures 14cm x 21.6cm (5.5 inches x 8.5 inches). The condition is excellent.

An original unused driver stock form which would have been used by delivery drivers to keep track of stock sold to companies. The form measures 21.6cm x 28cm (8.5 inches x 11 inches). There is a small rust stain towards the right edge. The condition is very good.

An original envelope with the farm’s name and address printed in the top left corner on the front. The envelope measures 24.1cm x 10.5cm (9.5 inches x 4.1 inches). The envelope has been sealed and a note has been made on the front in black pen. There is a rust stain on the reverse on the right edge. The condition is very good minus.
