B46106 – Blondie 1978 Heart Of Glass BPI Platinum Single Award Presented To Terry Ellis (UK)

An original BPI platinum single award presented to Terry Ellis for the sale of 2,500,000 copies of ‘Heart Of Glass’ by Blondie.

Provenance: the award comes from the collection of Terry Ellis, co-founder and president of Chrysalis Records. He was also a record producer, manager of Jethro Tull, formed Imago Records and was chairman of both the RIAA and BPI.

The award measures 26cm x 36.5cm (10.2 inches x 14.3 inches). There are small marks to the metal frame and small areas of rust on the clips on the reverse. The condition is very good plus.
