B46108 – Elton John 1973 Don’t Shoot Me MCA Records Sales Award (UK)

An original sales award presented to Stephen James, son of music producer Dick James, by MCA Records to recognise sales in excess of 1,000,000 copies of Elton John’s ‘Don’t Shoot Me I’m Only The Piano Player’ released in 1973. There is a small silver plaque underneath the record.

The award measures 38.5cm x 38.5cm (15.1 inches x 15.1 inches). The record sticker has come loose inside the frame. There is some wear and scratches to the black frame. The condition is very good minus.
