£125.00

A handwritten letter by Derek Taylor dated 17th May 1966. It is written on Derek Taylor letterhead and reads: ‘Dear Martin. How are you? Well, I hope. I’m awfully busy. I enclose a record by the Hard Times. It’s terribly important to me to get some airplay on it. It’s very good (I only picked it up yesterday but I do love it) by Bob Lind (written by him) and produced by Jim Dickson, manager of the Byrds. Can you help? Any thing you can do would be welcome. Thanks Love – Derek. P.s. Any action with Danny Hutton.’.

Attached to the front of Derek Taylor’s handwritten letter is a typed letter sent by Martin in response which is dated 31st May 1966.

The letter measures 21.5cm x 28cm (8.4 inches x 11 inches). The handwritten letter has been folded leaving horizontal crease lines. There are a few yellow stains across the page and light wear to the edges. The reply letter is printed on tracing paper and stapled to the front. The condition is very good.
