A page from an autograph book signed by John Lennon and Ringo Starr in blue ballpoint pen. The signatures date to 1967 and were obtained outside John’s Kenwood home in Weybridge, Surrey.
Provenance: comes with a letter that reads:
‘The Beatles signatures were acquired by my sister in law, Mrs Jane Davis in the 1960s when she, and many other fans, waited outside John Lennons house in St Georges Hill in Weybridge hoping that they would catch sight of one or all of The Beatles when they visited the property. John’s son, Julien would often be spotted in the garden beside a life sized replica Chelsea Boot and fans would pass sweets through the fence to him. From memory, on this occasion, she somehow managed to access the drive when the gate was open and knocked at the door where she was able to request the autographs.’
