B46330 – The Beatles Paul McCartney 1965 Autograph (UK)

A clipped piece of white lined paper autographed by Paul McCartney in black ballpoint pen. Paul has written ‘To Hilary love’ before and ‘xxx’ after his autograph. The signature dates to 1965.

Provenance: accompanied by a letter from the previous owner that reads:

‘I wanted to provide some background on how this autograph was obtained. The autograph comes from a friend of my mother’s (Hilary Leadbeatter) parents, Ken Walmsey, who was the editor of a magazine company. His daughter, Ann, was a club reporter who had the opportunity to interview The Beatles for a teen magazine around 1965/66 in London’.

The paper measures 6.5cm x 4.75cm (2.5 inches x 1.9 inches). The condition is very good.
