B46419 – Free Drummer Simon Kirke Signed Postcard (Sweden)

A 1960s Swedish postcard handwritten and signed by former Free and Bad Company drummer Simon Kirke.  The postcard reads:

‘Dear Doreen,

At the moment we are in Lapland.  Fantastic scenery and skies and the people are really warm – even though at the moment its -20°F!

Tomorrow we fly to Stockholm and Gothenburg to play the universities.  Should be good.  See you soon.

Provenance: the above item comes from the collection of Doreen Pettifer.  Doreen was a fan club secretary for numerous groups including The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and John Mayall.

The card measures 11cm x 16cm (4.25 inches x 6.25 inches).  The condition is excellent.
