An original sixties black and white press photograph of Jimmie Nichol waving to fans as The Beatles arrived at London Heathrow Airport back from their Australian tour. He was standing in for the usual drummer Ringo Starr who was ill at the time. It is copyright stamped and captioned on the reverse.
The photograph measures 20.5cm x 25.5cm (8 inches x 10 inches). The top right corner is creased and torn. There is some wear around the edges and corners. The condition is very good.
