A two page letter in blue pen in the hand of Pattie Boyd. The letter was written to her husband Eric Clapton in the late 1970s/1980s.  The letter reads as follows:

‘Early Friday morning

With Arthur + Iris

Bending my ear…..

Hello my darling, its a beautiful day and I’m ready to hit London Taking Peppy’s clothes and Roberts presents with me. I’m feeling wonderful even though I got up at 7.45 – it could have something to do with abstaining from alcohol + tobacco since you left – just drowning my loneliness in daylight!

I hope you are behaving yourself – cripes, I do miss you old bean. I’m going to see Neddy Tomorrow, her name is going to be either Layla or Bushbrush.

Oh how nice, Kevin just phoned to ask me for lunch at the White elephant. By the way I think Tom Dowd is making a mistake about Dommy and TON, did Robert hear The Tape? Must go sweetie, Tons of love and oceans of kisses from ME. X’.

The letter measures 22.3cm x 33cm (8.75 inches x 13 inches).  The letter has several crease lines.  The condition is excellent.
