It was sent just four months prior to the official break-up of The Beatles which happened on 10th April 1970.
It is worth noting the George was still living in his home in Esher ‘Kinfauns’, he would move to ‘Friar Park’ just three months later on 10th March 1970.
E.M.I. Records gave each member of The Beatles a Honda ‘Monkey’ motorbike as a Christmas present in 1969.
Just two days after the card was sent on 3rd January 1970 Paul, George and Ringo were in E.M.I. Studios, Abbey Road, to help complete the recording of George’s song ‘I Me Mine’.
The card measures 12.5cm x 10.2cm (4.9 inches x 4 inches). There is half of a hole punch in one corner. The condition is excellent.
