An extremely rare Parlophone A-label demonstration record for The Beatles debut single ‘Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You’. The single was released with the catalogue number 45-R 4949 on 5th October 1962. Mis-spelt ‘McArtney’ on both sides.
Side 1 matrix 7XCE 17144 – 1N
Side 2 matrix 7XCE 17145 – 1N
Stampers on both side 1 and side 2 are ‘ZT’ ‘JR’
ZT tax code on side 1.
Comes in the original ‘TOP POP’ sleeve.
There are pen markings covering both sides of the label. The condition of the labels is very good. The vinyl looks visually good and plays very good.
