B46895 – Jimi Hendrix Experience 1968 Spanish Concert Poster (Spain)

An original concert poster issued to promote the First World Festival Of Jazz & Popular Music. This event was due to take place between 22nd and 27th July 1968 in Mallorca, Spain. It was due to feature the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Donovan, Gene Pitney & The Byrds and many others. For reasons unknown the festival was cancelled. The Jimi Hendrix Experience were already in Mallorca as they were scheduled to open the new Sgt. Pepper night club, a venture managed by Chas Chandler and Michael Jeffery.
The poster measures 49.5cm x 75cm (19.5 inches x 29.5 inches). The condition is excellent.
