B47017 – Cilla Black 1960s NEMS Enterprises Promotional Booklets Tony Barrow Collection (UK)

An original promotional booklet for Cilla Black’s 1965 single ‘I’ve Been Wrong Before’ distributed by NEMS Enterprises Limited.

There is a drawing of Cilla on the cover along with the single title, inside details the recording of the single and the reverse has a black and white photograph of Cilla along with the NEMS Enterprises London address.

It is accompanied by an original promotional flyer for Cilla Black’s 1966 single ‘Love’s Just A Broken Heart/Yesterday’ distributed by NEMS Enterprises Limited. The song ‘Yesterday’ was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The flyer features a black and white image of Cilla on the cover, inside it details the release date of the single along with a short paragraph about the single and also a quote from Cilla. On the reverse is the NEMS Enterprises London address.

Provenance: both the items come from the collection of Beatles press officer, Tony Barrow.

The ‘I’ve Been Wrong Before’ booklet measures 21.75cm x 28cm (8.5 inches x 11 inches). There are indentations to the top edge of the booklet. The condition is good plus.

The ‘Love’s Just A Broken Heart/Yesterday’ booklet measures 12.75cm x 20.25cm (5 inches x 8 inches). The condition is very good.
