B47045 – Rolling Stones Mick Jagger 1968 Autographed Pan Am Menu (USA)
£1,200.00
A Pan Am President Special first class menu autographed on the front by Mick Jagger in felt tipped pen. Mick has added ‘Best Wishes’ before his name. The autograph was obtained on board a flight between the USA and Brazil in 1968.
Provenance: accompanied by a letter from the daughter of the original recipient that reads: ‘On a flight to South America (Argentina and Brazil), where my father mainly flew out of his base in Miami, there was a famous passenger in First Class.
It was none other than Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones. As senior purse, Daddy was working that cabin and politely asked if Mr. Jagger would kindly autograph a first-class menu for his daughter. Mr. Jagger was most accommodating and eagerly signed the menu with his signature circle with line through it. He explained to my father that it was a rolling stone.
I hope you find enjoyment in these both for the celebrities’ autographs as well as the mementos from Pan Am, that is no longer.’
The menu measures 32cm x 25cm (12.6 inches x 9.8 inches). The condition is very good.
