B47377 – Brian Jones Signed 1967 Granny Takes A Trip London Clothing Receipt Bill Wyman Archive (UK)

An original receipt from the clothing shop Granny Takes A Trip, 488 Kings Road, London signed by Brian Jones in black ballpoint pen. The receipt is dated 31st August 1967 and it is for the purchase of two pairs of velvet trousers.
Provenance: The item was previously sold as part of lot 341 in the ‘Music Icons’ with Julien’s Auctions sale between 29th and 30th May 2024 where Bill Wyman sold some of his archive. It is accompanied by a lot card and tag from the auction.

The receipt measures 12cm x 21.25cm (4.75 inches x 8.4 inches). The letter measures 15.2cm x 20.4cm (6 inches x 8 inches). There are two holes which have been punched along the left edge. The condition is excellent.
