B49556 – Pop Weekly Magazine Second Series 1963/1964 Complete Run (UK)

A complete consecutive run of the second series of Pop Weekly magazine. The run begins with issue 1 dated the 31st August 1963 and ends with issue 52 dated 22nd August 1964.

Pop Weekly was a new concept in the pop press. It was the first magazine to combine up to the minute news reports, articles on all of the most popular artists and groups of the day together with fabulous images of the stars. Most of the photos were exclusive to the magazine and they were not reproduced anywhere else. Pop Weekly also attempted a serious, considered tone which set it aside from its competitors in the music press.

The condition of the issues is excellent.
