B45687 – Don McLean Screen Worn Custom Shirt (USA)

A custom shirt owned and which was worn by Don McLean during a performance of ‘Vincent’ on Irish talk show The Late Late Show in 2018. It is a western style shirt in paisley fabric with two breast pockets, dagger collar and press stud fastenings. A video of the performance can be seen here.

Provenance: previously sold as lot 123 in the Julien’s Auctions Property From The Life and Career of Don McLean sale on the 11^th November 2022. Accompanied by the lot tag and card.

The shirt measures 65.5cm (25.8 inches) from the armpit to armpit and 85 (33.5 inches) from the back of the neck to the hem. No label or size is present. The condition is excellent.
