HEN0143 – Jimi Hendrix Experience / Eric Clapton 1970 New York Pop Festival Poster (USA)

An original promotional poster for the 1970 New York Pop Festival which took place at Downing Stadium, New York between 17th and 19th July 1970 just three months before Jimi’s death. The three concerts featured performances by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Jethro Tull, Eric Clapton, Grand Funk Railroad, Van Morrison and more. It has been rolled and is printed with a list of performers for each day and ticket/venue information across the bottom.
The poster measures 58.5cm x 89cm (23 inches x 35 inches). There is some creasing to the left and right edges. The condition is very good plus.
