RS764 – The Rolling Stones 1964 Essoldo Theatre Stockport Autographs (UK)
A piece of lined paper that has been autographed by the Rolling Stones in blue ballpoint pen. The autographs were obtained at the Essoldo Theatre, Stockport, England on 28th May 1964 by John Brierly the bass player in the band David John And The Mood who were one of the support groups to the Rolling Stones on the night. The autographs come with a letter from John Brierly that reads ‘I was the bass player in the band David John and The mood and we did a mini tour with the Rolling Stones who of course were the headline act. I was present in their dressing room when the band signed their autographs. They signed before their appearance at the Essoldo Thaetre, Stockport (which does not exist anymore). Note Brian Jones was with the Stones at the juncture and is one of the signatories.’. The paper measures 13.25cm x 18cm (5.25 inches x 7 inches). Light spotting in places, the paper has been folded and laid flat. The condition is very good.
