A double sided white label test pressing of the Rolling Stones 1971 album ‘Goats Head Soup’. The vinyl comes housed in a plain white sleeve on which a piece of paper has been taped bearing Bill Wyman’s handwritten track listing, including the original song title of ‘Starfucker’ for the song ‘Star Star’. The matrix numbers ‘COC 59101 A2’ and ‘COC 59101 B1’ have been stamped onto their respective side along with the words ‘Rolling Stones Records’ which has been etched into both sides. The letter B has been written on the B side label in pencil. The condition of the vinyl is near mint. The condition of the sleeve is very good.

The item was previously sold as part of lot 344 in the ‘Property of Bill Wyman and His Rolling Stones Archive’ with Julien’s Auctions sale between 11th and 13th September 2021 and is accompanied by a lot card and tag from the auction. All of the items in the sale were part of Bill Wyman’s renowned and vast archive.
