B48375 – The Richmond Group Negatives Bob Wooler Collection (UK)

A collection of nine medium format positive colour negatives of The Richmond Group. Bob Wooler can be seen sat with the group in one photograph.

The Richmond Group were a short-lived Liverpool Merseybeat band active c.1965–66, managed under Bob Wooler Productions. Fronted by Dave Kerrigan with Eddie Cave on sax/vocals, they played the local beat/R&B circuit but never broke beyond Liverpool. They left little recorded output and their significance lies mainly in showing the depth of the Merseybeat scene fostered by Bob Wooler.
